A Voice Straight from the Heart …

SPANDAN 2009 HASYA KAVI SAMMELAN aims to entertain students and diverse their mind abilities to the best of our Indian culture. The members of team SPANDAN initially started with eight member only - Deepak Goyal (MCA 1st year), Mohit Jain (B.E. final year, E&C), Nivedita Sharma (MCA 1st year), Chhavi Gupta (MCA 1st year), Nikita Jain (MCA 1st year), Gulshan Kumar (MCA 1st year). Dhananjay (MCA 2nd year).Purva Goyal (MCA 1st year). The idea came into our mind that we wanted to organize SPANDAN-2009 "A HASYA KAVI SAMMELAN" for the first time in LIET. We started to work very hard & invited Dr. Kumar Vishwas & Mr. Ramesh Muskaan as the guest poets. We got "JAYANTI DRINKS" as our brand sponsor and in spite of very few students in LIET college. We had an ultimate gathering. The event was memorable & wonderful. Event organized on 18th May, 2009 by lightening ceremony with the hands of our respected chairman Mr. Manoj Chachan. Dr. Kumar Vishwas was given a warm welcome along with Dr. Ramesh Mushkan. Followed by some cultural dance and then Dr. Kumar Vishwas & Mr. Ramesh Muskan had a piece of honor in the form of “Shawl” & “Pagdi” by Mr. Manoj Chachan. Firstly Mr. Ramesh Muskan Presented a Poem “Computer yug ki chhori” and some other stuff also and then Dr. Kumar Vishwas recited “Ek Pagli Ladki...” & “Koi Deewana Kehta hai...”, then team SPANDAN presented momentous to the Management and the Poets. That is how the event ended successfully. We got full support from media also. Every local news channel & news paper of alwar covered this event. In this way our college LIET also got a lot of publicity also & we would continue this voice to be echoed in the coming years.
